Current Affairs is the most dynamic and high-scoring section of any Pakistani competitive exam — PPSC, FPSC, NTS, CSS, PMS or any provincial service commission test. Examiners increasingly focus on events from the last 12–24 months, and 60–70% of current affairs MCQs in recent PPSC and FPSC papers have come from national and international developments of the current year.
This set of 100 Pakistan Current Affairs MCQs covers verified events from 2025 and 2026 — including politics, economy, CPEC Phase-II, foreign policy, appointments, science & technology, sports, and international affairs. Every answer is sourced from official government announcements, news agencies, and verified data.
How to Prepare Current Affairs for PPSC/FPSC
The most effective strategy is to read one quality newspaper daily (Dawn or The News), follow official government press releases, and practice MCQs weekly. Focus especially on: appointments of key officials (army chiefs, chief justices, governors), economic indicators (GDP growth, inflation, IMF programs), foreign policy developments (CPEC, SCO, bilateral agreements), and firsts and records achieved by Pakistan.
