FPSC CSS 2027 Official Schedule Announced: MPT & Written Exam Dates

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially released the "Advance Public Notice" detailing the tentative schedule for the highly anticipated CSS Competitive Examination 2027. This early announcement allows thousands of aspiring civil servants across Pakistan to plan their studies and prepare documents well in advance.

According to the official notification dated 5th July 2026, the CSS examination process will follow its standard two-stage format: the mandatory Preliminary Test (MPT) followed by the main Written Examination.

Phase 1: MPT (Screening Test) Schedule for CSS-2027

The MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) is the mandatory first hurdle. Candidates who fail to secure at least 33% marks (66 out of 200) in this test will not be allowed to sit for the main written examination.

How to Apply Online?

The application process for both the MPT and the Written Exam is entirely digital. Candidates must follow these steps:

2. Download the official Challan Form and deposit the required fee (Rs 250 for MPT) in the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) or State Bank of Pakistan.
